Privacy

Your video stays on your device. MakeReal.TV does not upload or save your footage.

What happens to your video

When you choose a file, your browser reads it locally. Scanning for lively moments, previewing, trimming, effects and creating the MP4 all happen inside this browser tab. The video's bytes, frames, sound, filename, the measurements we take from it, and your edits are never sent to our servers or to anyone else. There is no upload endpoint, even as a fallback.

When you leave the page or press TNT, the video is released from memory. We don't store it in your browser either.

What the website still sees

Like any website, our host (Cloudflare) receives normal web requests when you load the page: things like your IP address, browser type and which pages were requested. That's how the page gets to you. It doesn't include anything about your video.

No accounts, no tracking of your files

There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics that can see your files or edits. We don't use cookies for MakeReal.TV.

Sharing

If you use the SHARE button, your device's own share sheet sends the file you made to wherever you choose. That's between you and the app you pick.
